Whats the view like from the first and second row? Can you see below the knees? Cause while most people don't really care, I like to watch the feet--especially during dance numbers
Same here.
The Palace has an extremely high stage. You won't be able to see their feet from the first row, (at least for when they are at the front of the stage, you'll see more as they move back), maybe a bit more if you're in the second row. I was in Row A and could barely see the dogs when they were on the ground.
:- I hate that.

Cape Twirl, I believe it is the other way around. You can see their lower legs and feet when they are closest, at the front of the stage, and less as they move back. The stage is raked, but for that to happen, the tilt would have to be ridiculous.
For a height reference, you can see Bruiser (a chihuahua) in the opening number- he is downstage center. You cannot see Rufus (an english bulldog) on his (actually her...) entrance, until she is hoisted by Christian and Orfeh, they're just about center stage when the dog runs in. I hope that gives some perspective on viewage.
You might want to sit further back...there are some beautiful shoes in this show. Christian Louboutin, anyone? Not to mention the dancing...
thanks for the info. i am going to stay with tkts & ticketmaster.com
Broadwaybaby006, ha, oops that's what I meant. :) Thanks for the correction. But still it's harder to see from the front row than from a few rows back.
mezz in the palace theatre is also great sitting row AA or A of the mezz hangs over row K of the orch. I sat in the mez when i saw aida twice in the palace and it was fine and you can see the whole stage.
I have an urgent request.
I can't get into the city until 7:40 today. Do you think rush is still possible?
