Just to be fair that's not the fault of the Chronicle writer, that is spin by Barlow, from the official press release:

"Laura Bell Bundy (Elle Woods) On Broadway, Miss Bundy originated the role of Amber Von Tussle in the Tony Award-winning musical Hairspray and replaced Kristin Chenoweth in the role of Glinda in the smash hit Wicked...."

Yes. She was one of the Sweethearts.

The show looks adorable.

Ihave to agree that by looking at the pics it looks really good. I love the look on Margo and Serena's faces. The costumes are jazzier versions of the movies.

I am not sure I understand the sky backdrop for the clothing store, but I am sure it makes sense on stage.

this should be a fun show, I hope it lasts. LBB deserves it.
