Annie Leibovitz has shot the cast for the latest issue of Vogue, some fantastic portraits, but no Sam Barks or Aaron Tveit frustratingly.

I think Barks will be the Jennifer Hudson of this film. Dreamgirls pushed the Beyonce performance as THE performance of the season. It was good but the public and critics as well raved about Hudson and she ended up taking home the Oscar.

Love the pic of the Thenardiers especially HBC's patchwork skirt. HBC and SBC were born to play those roles.

Posted: 11/12/12 at 10:07pmAll of the pictures are beautiful! And I'm looking forward to seeing/hearing Helena's take on Madame T's bit in "Master of the House." Some Madame Thenardiers have played it for laughs with lots of sarcasm, while others have done it straight with a bit of bitterness.

After playing Morgan Le Fey, Marla Singer, Mrs. Lovett, Bellatrix Lestrange, the Red Queen, Dr. Julia Hoffman, Miss Havisham, and Madame Thénardier what's next for Helena Bonham Carter -- maybe Madame Morrible in the film adaptation of WICKED?

Eppie and Enjolras too! Sad both of them are getting snubbed, although I can see why, there are not "names" yet....yet. I'm sure they'll both get much more attention after the film opens. Glad Eddie's name at least made the 2nd trailer.
For the record Sam is featured in Glamour US this month (with Selena Gomez on the cover) she models some of the glam makeup looks of the season on three pages, and there's a mini article. So that's kinda neat.

Posted: 11/13/12 at 1:39pmJust saying, the only time I have ever liked Helena Bonham Carter was in The King's Speech because she wasn't all gothic and filled with odd humor. That being said, I'm excited for her in this movie.
