Les Mis Replacements?

I was wondering when are people some of the leads, such as Nikki M James, Caissie Levy, and Ramin Karimloo are depart the production, and if they are going to replace them with a known broadway-starlet. But, also if you had a choice who would you have to replace these now cast members.

Jean Valjean: Paulo Szot
Fantine: Eden Espinosa
Eponine: Samantha Barks (or Jennifer Damiano)

Tonight marks Melissa O'Neil's (ensemble, Eponine/Fantine understudy) final performance. Briana Carlson Goodman is taking over her track (for now, anyway). No word yet on what's next for Melissa.

There are a few photos floating around from a "press day" that happened yesterday. From what I've seen, Ramin Karimloo, Samantha Hill, and Kyle Scatliffe are definitely staying with the show. It appears, however, that Matt Rosell is going to assume the role of Marius, and Briana Carlson Goodman is going to take over as Eponine (there was a photo of them posted in costume).

Nothing is confirmed, but there are photos out there that indicate this will likely happen.

Briana was an Eponine on tour, so it's not surprising if she ends up in the role. Really nice voice--much more traditional Eponine then Nicki M. James did--and just a super lovely girl.

If Swenson stays, it becomes even more of a Hair reunion, as Briana was swing in the production.

I don't think Paulo Szot would make a good Valjean. I think that score is much too high for him. Nevertheless, I find him very dreamy.

I thought Briana was a rather generic Eponine when I saw her on tour, but I prefer a rougher take. She was very pop.
