The producers are wisely keeping her from making the talk show rounds to promote the crapfest. She was on The View but sang only one line from "Money" as well as the Tonys. Other than that- nada- they know the majority of people detest her voice.
It's actually almost metaphysical... This Argentine underdog moves in on a snobbish elitist sect and is equally worshipped and derided for it. You can't make that up!
I want to see a fight between Josefina Scaglione and Elena Roger. Winner takes on Patti.
Elaine Stritch can be the referee.
Can Bernadette be the judge?

Aye Dios Mio - in Phyllis' picture Ms. Roger looks like Batboy.
That's a great Qual, though.
That's funny because I've always referred to her as Ratwoman.

I'll have a solid opinion after the performance on Monday, July 23.
Going off the cast recording, I like her. It's a different take on the role, but its definitely her own. It unique. I like that. I wouldn't want a carbon-copy of Patti or Madonna or whoever. It needs to be her own.
I purposely attended a performance with the alternate because of recordings and videos of Elena from London and other things. I enjoyed the alternate very much. Now, listening to the cast recording, I still think Elena is screechy, harsh and difficult to understand...at times, but I'm beginning to see how it could work in the role...in a very interesting way. That's assuming she's not worse in person than she is on the recording.

You keep mentioning this Army in every thread. Who are they?!

Rainbowhigh23, did Elena run over your puppy or something?

Is it true Elena hired people to pee and poo during other shows?
The way I look at it, if you can't even spell the performer's name right you have no fvcking business criticizing their performance.

No! She's lovely. I've been a fan since London. My puppy loves her, too.
My left butt cheek twitches every time she hits the high "QUAL" at the end of Buenos Aires.

I forgot that she was on Good Morning America. Props for doing Buenos Aires at 8:30 am out in the street-but she still stunk.

She was great on GMA! I think that was a better representation of the show than the View. She sounded great in the cold at 8:30 AM after being up since 3AM.
My puppy and I were up early and cheering at the TV that day and so happy for the cast for a wonderful performance. They won't let my puppy into the theater but she definitely wants to see the show with Elena.

INCROYABLE! Scroll to 3:25 for the most incredible QUAL you've ever heard!

That was some qual!
Certainly, she wasn't singing live though, was she?

Maybe not. It was nippy that day and she had a show that night.
