I have never seen a performance polarize the boards the way hers has, except for maybe Bernadette in Follies. So. Whaddya think?
Debating her is old news, bud. Plenty of past threads to comb over if ya want. I'm not sure if anyone but you wants to read all that again.
She was better than Bernadette in GYPSY.

Some say she sacrifices babies.
I can't understand what this thread is saying.

Where is the militant Elena Roger Fangirl Army when you need them?!
I hear her hole is so unclean pure water can melt her.

If you throw water on her she melts because she's made of sugar. Dulce de leche to be exact.
Patti could do this thread better. In her sleep. Upside down. On a bungee cord. On a Monday.
Let's have Aice R as her replacement! Or Idina!

The sad thing is both have stated at different times that they want to play Evita.

That is really sad.
HEY.
HEY.
HEY.
Her name is Elena Rogers.
I have made it pretty clear how I feel about her, so I won't repeat myself again about how amazing I think she is.

Yes, but what you often don't make clear is that you've never actually seen her performance. Not on Broadway. Not in London. Not in Argentina.
Everything she's done will be justified by her foundation.

I fully admit my opinion of her thus far is based on numerous audios and a couple videos. I live about as far away from New York City as possible unfortunately, so my opinions are often based on cast recordings/audios/videos for shows/performers. It very well could change when/if I get to see her. Many people on here who did not see her in London established thoughts on her based on the London cast recording months before the show opened on Broadway... I wish I could see more stuff in New York City live, but I live too far away, so I stay in the loop the best I can because I love Broadway.
Bettyboy- I think thats my favorite response in quite some time! I loved it!
And I have seen the show twice, and I love her. Not a huge fan of Martin's- I think his Che lacks the needed moral center of the piece, but I think she is great. No- she is no Patti- but she doesn't have to be, nobody has to be, because in all reality, Patti doesn't live up to the Patti in Evita that lives on on that American Premiere Recording- and with that- I'm off to bed!
She supports me, cause she loves me, understands me, is one of me. Jus sayinnnn.....

Actually, I believe the verbatim quote is "Eyyvreethin dunn wheel be justify by my fondayshawn."
(I know, I'm going to he-double-hockey-sticks).
For the record, I did see the show, I can show you the credit card receipt, but I actually liked Elena’s performance. I apologize for your future reasoning on why I shouldn’t.
I only suggested Alice and Idina because they tend to be polarizing as well.
