I saw Bobby two days ago and asked him if Ragtime was performing, and he said no since the performances are primarily done to sell tickets.
That's too bad but very realistic. They did lose their entire investment and the show is no longer running for them to gain more revenue. Why would they spend money that they didn't make? Hoping a miracle happens though... a performance, no matter how small would be wonderful.

Having seen "La Cage" tonight, I'd like to make these suggestions:
-"The Best of Times"
-If they do have Grammer as an introduction, he should also do the finale version of "With You on My Arm." I think America would like to see him in this show if they knew how good his singing is.
I think a lot more likely you will see non-nominated things like PROMISES or ADDAMS FAMILY get some kind of on air time over closed revivals...
On a related note, how was Def Poetry Jam able to perform at the 2003 Tonys when that show had closed? Was Russell Simmons rich enough to buy the time?
