When I first read the title of this thread I thought it meant musicals that we thought would be turned into movies... and unfortunately, in about ten years, I bet we will be seeing PHANTOM OF MANHATTAN on the screens. OY!

Moulin Rouge starring Rachel York as Satine and Hadley Fraser as Christian.

I strongly second MR and Hadley would be great, but I'd prefer Lisa Brescia as Satine.

I would LOVE Hocus Pocus as well.

In the opposite scheme, I would love to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels re-adapted as a Movie Musical, but only if Sherie Rene Scott plays Christine :)

I think My Big Fat Greek Wedding would be hilarious as a musical
