Tiny. I remember when you liked other shows. Why did you devote your whole life around BROOKLYN? It seems now that BROOKLYN is the only musical you really are crazy over. I mean it's great to be a devoted fan - but you just went really far with this whole BROOKLYN thing.
Too you - BROOKLYN is the best musical ever written. But to many of us - it's true classic and brilliant works like GYPSY.

ljay, dont worry about me.
I still love other Broadway shows.
Actually, I just saw 'Doubt' and loved it. Probably my favorite play ever. I also loved The Light In The Piazza, and while I didnt go crazy after seeing Gypsy, I liked it too. Yes, Brooklyn Fans can like other shows. Once you get to know us, we're just like you all-Crazy Broadway Fans

"-Leonard Bernstein
-Cy Coleman
-Sondheim
-Kander & Ebb
If it was about any of those men - I would see it. "
As would I. BUt none of them wrote musicals about themselves.

Sum/Adman Rich - y'all can have a musical about you when you get your own musical produced on B'way and then someone approaches you and is willing to finance a musical about your life. Deal?
If it happens, post here and I'll go see that too!
It is absolutely true that Mark Schoenfeld isn't as distinguished a composer as those listed before, but that isn't the point at all. No one (LEAST of all Mark) is suggesting that he is on the level of Sondheim, et al. Schoenfeld's life story is about more than just BKLYN or the music he's written (alone or collaborating with Barri McPherson). His story has apparently garnered enough interest that someone had OFFERED to produce it. So that's what is happening. It's cool really, and Mark Schoenfeld is such a nice guy, I wish him the best. If someone wants to make his story into a show, more power to them. Hope it does great!

HAHAHAHAHAHA - what a mouth you have!
Anyway - fine, forgettng he is a composer and that he was homeless....There are other homeless people I'd rather see a show about.
