Victoria is awesome though.
I'm in Virginia on EST and it's not scheduled to be broadcast until 9pm.
Can someone please explain why the mother has a thick Southern accent and the daughter none at all, please?

Kelli O'Hara had a southern accent.
It doesn't look as rich as I had hoped it would on TV. Ah, well. Better than nothing.
This one doesn't. And she sings through her nose. ugh.

Oh god shes like a freaking barbie doll.
Kelli was 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000x better

I actually quite like Katie Clarke. Yes she has her flaws and such but I enjoyed her oerformance when I saw it, although I would have loved to see Celia Keenan-Bolger when she was workshopping it
Edit: Well Katie was certainly better when I saw her on New Year's. She souns kind of...eh here.

Yeah Katie is definately not sounding her best right now.
And I never saw Matthew, but I love Aaron Lazar
This Clara has nothing on Kelly Ohara...YIKES!!! This is wanting something, this is cracking at it.
I'm adjusting well to Katie. She's playing it so well, and all of those singing that you're claiming isn't good is in character.

She's overacting the role in my opinion.
lord almighty shut up and forget about Kelli...just wait until the end before criticizing her performance which I'm sure not many of you could pull off and particularly on national TV...and besides if you want to start comparing Celia Keenan Bolger was the original and was to me the closest to Clara.

I don't need a medical degree to complain about my doctor.
(West Coast, so have not seen this yet -- I just think that's a shoddy argument that's brought up far too often.)
Duh, i know she is r_____...please don't pull the old "you couldn't do it" argument, save that for American Idol chatrooms or 9th Grade. Just because she is in "character" does not mean she should be BAD!
I am so excited to watch it!
Aaron Lazar graduated from my high school in 1994 and the current theatre group took a trip to see him in November and I've been dying to see it again since. Obviously, this won't be as good as being in a theatre, but I am rather excited. :)
