re: Light in the Piazza on PBS Tonight 8 to 10:30PM!

I thought they taped it yesterday? There were all these cameras and vans and they had a bunch of things up for it. Maybe the stuff was still up and I just didn't notice today.

N/m, I just read the article. I guess they've just been practicing, makes sense.

I'm so excited! Got the tape ready, it's gonna go right after the Tonys.

So may be they are rehearsing in NY, until they move to SF.

I am DVRing it and then I am going to tape it after that! I am excited!
...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

The show is indeed live. I work by Lincoln Center and the broadcasting trucks with mobile control booth is park on 65th Street at this very moment.

I know it's longer than two hours, but why do all the PBS stations only slot 2 hours for this? Did anyone notice that? They aren't cutting anything but intermission right??

It is live. Aaron Lazar talks about it on his blog. e_e

I wish it were with the OBC. Or at least not Katie Clarke. But, oh well, at least I FINALLY get to see this show!
Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

If anything it would start late. They wouldn't start it earlier. They said that they may start late depending on what's going on, so you may want to set it for a little after 10:30. (Or whatever time it's over in your area.)
