Yeah, that MOURNING was a horror. Hopefully she's recovered and will impress us all again.

Taylor was completely miscast and embarrassingly bad in MOURNING BECOMES ELECTRA--nearly everyone in that production was--but in roles to which she is well-suited, she always shines. I think she will be great here.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

One of my favorite performances on film was Lili in I Shot Andy Warhol. She won several best actress awards for that.

She was fine in LANDSCAPE OF THE BODY. Is she playing the Swoozie role?

Yeah, she is. I'm curious to see who will be playing her husband. It's a pretty easy role to cast, but I imagine they will want to have it be someone semi-recognizeable from TV/film, as that's obviously the direction the casting of this play (and of course, pretty much EVERY play on Broadway) is going.

BTW, not to be snarky, but this play, although well-written, is completely dated now and no matter how good the cast is this is going to be another self-inflicted blow to the Roundabout.
