I am absolutely dying to to see Blood and Gifts, but I'm only 19 - so I don't meet the age minimum for LincTix - and $80 for a regular ticket is definitely out of the question. Do you think I should risk buying a LincTix ticket? How strict are box office people with checking IDs?
#2

LincTix

They definitely check (especially up at the Lincoln Center theaters). But if you have a student ID, go for student rush. They have been available for B & G.
#3

LincTix

I agree, Lincoln Center is very strict about this. I wouldn't do it, unless you want to risk them turning you away.

My ID wasn't checked at GOLDEN BOY, THE NANCE or NIKOLAI AND THE OTHERS. I simply gave my name and the tickets were handed to me.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

May I ask how your seats were at The Nance?

Second row dead center

Thanks! How high is the stage?
#8

LincTix

It's high. The people in front of me moved. The front row seemed like not the optimal place to sit, but I was fine in the second row. (Full disclosure: I'm 6'3")

Ok. I'll see about a booster if I'm there (I'd love to see it, but I'm really short.)

LincTix

If they are offering you Row A that's the second row btw.

Are they no longer affiliated with Lincoln Center?
#15

LincTix

LCT did not produce the transfer.

Is a LincTix member able to get 2 tickets to a certain show? Does their guest have to be 21-35 as well??
#18

LincTix

I believe members may only receive one ticket per production. You can be linked to a friend's account to get seats together, but obviously they must also be eligible members.

frogs_fan is correct.

You can only get one ticket, but if you want to attend with another LincTix member you can buy your seats next to each other. If you go to the box office you can also buy one ticket through LincTix along with a full-priced ticket and sit together.
