I think if you really want to talk about this at length, youshould join the kids on twitter because no one on here really cares about Lin or Hamilton anymore."
Lin was always a bit much for me, but I've never heard that he isn't nice but to be quite honest I'm not surprised. What do people say he does/ is like?
I'm in the industry in Chicago and know a lot of people who have crossed paths with him. Basically I've just heard that he knows that he's a big deal and acts like it in person. A bit demanding, divaesque, etc. If I ever mention his name around those people, they usually cringe.

Oh, you poor delusional child. Most people here actually respect and like Lin and his work. But you shouldn't run into an established site and think you are the first to discover the wonderment that is LMM. Take a look around and read the dozens of threads on him, Hamilton, ITH....and many other things.
You need to LEARN about Broadway before you can tell others you know everything.

You'd be surprised how many kids in high schools are like this. Once somebody told me Lin was their father and Hamilton is the longest running show of all time...

A teenager who thinks they know everything? Now there's something you don't see every day. Oh wait...
(By the way, I agree with everything you're saying, I'm just venting)

Posted: 4/21/18 at 9:56pmThreads like these are fascinating to me. Fifteen years ago, Wicked was the huge show that the tweens flooded message boards with, and now it's Hamilton. Surely if BWW existed in 1988, Phantom would have been the same sort of deal. I wonder what sensation will hit with the kiddos in another ten or so years.

Not to feed the troll, but I can't believe you guys are falling for this, I think its so clearly a troll here:
linnamonrole said: "Who else do you know who can compose their own show and star in it. NO ONE. Only Lin can do that because he is LIN MANUEL MIRANDA."
and here:
linnamonrole said: "He has three Tony awards, like there is probably no other performer who has that many awards because then they would obviously be more famous than Lin if they did."

Posted: 4/21/18 at 10:00pmOh yeah, this is definitely a troll. It's just scary how accurately they've captured the naive teen attitude, because I swear I've seen 14-year-olds on Tumblr and Twitter who act exactly like this.

It's hilarious because this is how my 8-year-old brother acts about musical theater, he thinks that Hamilton is the best thing ever and won't see anything else
