Having seen her in the role, I can tell you this is the strongest part of her performance.
Odd that she opted for a lower ending note in this performance, though.

Posted: 12/20/10 at 7:31pmI was underwhelmed by that entire thing.

Posted: 12/20/10 at 7:38pmAs sad as I would be to see her go into a crappy show like Mamma Mia, I would love to see Jessica Phillips take a crack at this song.

Still prefer Carolee Carmello.

Love her... but I still prefer her Elphaba (from what I can hear).
She still may get me back to this show, though.

Posted: 1/20/11 at 11:38pmjust got back from seeing her in MM and all i can say was i never expected to be board at the show. Her performance lacked so much not just in vocal strength or breath control but she seemed to just walk through it. no choices no nothing. Ive seen her in other things and i just dont think this is the part for her. After seeing Beth Level last year who is an amazing actor i was sad when i left tonight

Posted: 1/21/11 at 11:49amI saw the show recently (after getting tickets like 5 minutes before the show) and was actually very impressed by Brescia. The other Donnas I've seen have lacked the pop voice I like to hear singing those songs. I really like what Brescia did with the role, and her Winner Takes It All was indeed very impressive to me live.
