Just wanted to say that I saw Lisa in WICKED tonight and she was absolutely fantastic. Her "Wizard and I," "Defying Gravity," and "No Good Deed" were perfection. She was on the entire night...and completely confident in her abilities...and it showed. A truly wonderful actress, singer, and human being. I hope she is consistently working for the rest of her life.

Thank you so much for posting WithoutATrace! I am so glad you enjoyed her performance! She truly is amazing and the nicest person I have ever met in my life!

I DEFINITELY agree! She is so genuine and such a wonderful person. I was very fortunate to see her in AIDA last summer at the MUNY in St. Louis, and have kept in touch with her ever since. I met her when I was in New York the end of May, and she was just everything I could have hoped for and more! Truly amazing!

I LOVE her as well. Have met her before as well and she is so sweet, we chatted for a while back when they were casting a replacement for DRV in Les Miz.

She just needs a real website now where people can get information about her, when she is going on, and send fan mail! She needs to tap her fan-base!

Planning on it, but every one I have asked to come and help me or counted on to come help me has flaked out, so its been a one-man effort.

I'm beginning to look like the Lotto pariah, sitting back by the poles with my headphones and large sunglasses on.

Back from the lotto, lost again.

I did have the pleasure of doing the lotto with none other than, Lisa Brescia.

As sweet as ever, I told her she has a lot of support and people enjoying her performances.

She was doing the lotto with her dresser in order to win for a friend in town. She said she was sick this morning but by the time she hit the stage something hit her and she was right back on.

I usually don't post much at all, but after seeing Lisa perform tonight(7-7), I thought she was great. I've seen all of the people who have played the role and thought she was as good as anyone who has played it.

Even though I follow broadway fairly closely, I didn't know much about her. When I saw the insert tonight, I thought it was a little strange. This thread helped explain some things.

In my opinion, unless the Lea Michele thing is a done deal already, there is no reason to look elsewhere, but to Lisa to fill the role when Julia leaves.
