There is a cool backstage video on Broadway.com. It's a meet-n-greet with the cast!

Check it!

I wonder if there going to turn it into a Going Blondeque thing.
Maybe they should title it "Dive Under the Sea" if they turn it into a series.

Thanks so much for posting this.

As some of you know, I was at the closing of LoveMusik yesterday. In the row in front of me, were two people from Les Miz. In front of me was one of their friends, a woman who looked so familiar, but I couldn't figure out from where.

Now, I do.

I love how Sierra is just SO excited that the two Flounders are more articulate than she is. And oh my GOD I want her hair. They're not even going to have to wig her, and I'm going to be jealous for eternity. ^_^

That Cody kid was hilarious. What a cutie.

I hope I get to see this show.

I still want a fat Ursula- but you can't have everything.

-TLM is one of the first movies I can remember vividly seeing in the a theatre as well. I remember crying at the end when the chorus reprises "part of your world."

The casting does look great! I was hoping to see some rehearsal footage or some insight into how some of the effects will be done. Anyone know any new information about the staging?

I am seeing it here in Denver on August 21st. Saw the thread title and thought, is the cast here in Denver already?! I don't think they are. It should be nice having them here. Especially as small as the downtown area is. Will probably see them walking around. I am actually looking at the theatre from my office window now! 2 of the bars I go to usually do something with casts of shows that are in town. Hopefully this cast will do something. A lot of times they perform at the bar.

That was cute! I"m really excited for the show! First night preveiw tickets yay!!!

So how is the Flounder thing going to work? Does one of them talk and the other just helps move the costume like in Avenue Q or do they both talk or what?

and i quite enjoyed Jonathon Freeman saying reincarnation of 42nd street lol.

JR's did something with the 1st touring cast of "Hairspray". The cast had their own band and they played and the entire cast showed up and sang for 2 hours. It was a blast. The bar was a big hang out for members of the cast. And Hamburger Mary's has done a few things. All Shook Up Was here recently and the cast showed up a few times. One night to perform for BCEFA. I will find out from the owners if they are doing anything. They are friends of mine. But if you work downtown, you can find them on the 16th street mall. And practically every cast likes to eat at Rock Bottom. it is close to the theatre.
