Completely agree with you, Wicked. Seeing Liza at The Palace was incredible. Such a presence...such an energy & such a talent.

No disrespect to the legendary performer- but even she's willing to admit that she can barely make it through her concert shows. I don't see how she can do this...

No offense to Ms. Minnelli or any of her fans, but I think this is just a waste of theater space. I find her singing voice to be extremely irratating.

I would be worried for her health. Maybe if she plays a small part with a solo, that would be easy for her.

What was the point of putting that in a thread where you knew people would get excited about the possibility of her doing a show? To show that you were "cooler than us" with your "anti Liza' attitude?

Well, I'm a bit conflicted. On the one hand, it would be fabulous to see her in a Broadway show. She still has a lot to offer. If that does happen, perhaps she should focus on songs that don't require belting. When I saw her in concert in 2010, her "NY NY" was sort of excruciating. She was fine with the other songs, but not so much with her attempts at belting. I also wonder if she's healthy enough to undertake a strenuous Broadway run. She does seem to be prone to illness.
