I'm coming to London at the end of the month for a few days, just to see some shows.
I already have tickets to Paradise Found, Sweet Charity, Holding the Man, The Comedy of Errors and Macbeth. I have wednesday afternoon free, what show should I see that has a wednesday matinee? (I've already seen Jersey Boys and Wicked.)
I haven't seen it, but have heard very positive things about "All My Sons" at the Apollo. I know they do £10 dayseats if you can go and get them easily.
Sister Act is very good if you haven't seen that one yet.
Thanks, I was thinking about ALL MY SONS, it sure sounds great.
I saw SISTER ACT last year and I thought it was a mess. Great cast, great score but the sets looked horrendous and the book is a little too silly for my taste...
I am really looking forward to HOLDING THE MAN, it is one of the firt shows I booked.
I know OLIVER! has a Wednesday matinee, have you guys seen it? How about the current cast? I love musicals and this is a pretty famous one so I'd like to know what all he fuss is about. I couldn't get a ticket the last time I was here because it had just opened with Rowan Atkinson. On the other hand, I heard it was a soulless megamusical...
'Oliver!', If you haven't ever sen it then give it a go. It isn't the best of productions but sadly its the only one we'll probably see for decades to come. If Russ Abbott has opened then you will see one of the best Fagins ever in London. This will be his 3rd season and he is amazing.
