Honestly, I'd rather see Springtime for Hitler come to Broadway.
The Melbourne production was awful, in fact it was boring

Female lead "must have chemistry with a gorilla robot"

Good thing they have a new creative team.
I'd watch it if they finally cast Meryl Streep in the female lead. Set history right.

I just....am kind of speechless on this one. Seems too odd all around.
This smells like a catastrophic flop.

1. I have to say I agree with this...Every friend of mine who auditioned for it all said each call was pretty dead. Because NO ONE wants to be is King Kong the musical...
2. The real question is...why HASN'T Springtime for Hitler happened yet??

Um, if no one wants to be in King Kong, how do you have friends who auditioned for it? Is this "That place is so crowded no one goes there anymore"
I have been waiting for this to get to Broadway.

God, is this going to be another Spiderman? It has been climbing it's way (HAHAHA) to Broadway for like 300 years. I don't think anyone cares at this point.
Honestly I'll definitely see this if/when it comes to Broadway. Will I expect high quality? Of course not. But I'm curious to see what they do with it, and I'm curious to see this puppet of theirs in action. If nothing else, telling your friends in years to come that you saw King Kong The Musical on Broadway may be good for a laugh. I'd never pay full price for this (I rarely pay full price for anything), but for rush price, I'll definitely give this a go.

I'd rather see Rebecca.

Still not sure that will help!

Exactly. I NEVER expected King Kong to be a musical. I didn't even think it would succeed as one.
but did you see those guys who pulled the strings??? Too bad there wasn't a [shirtless] show about them instead.
