I had a friend who saw it saturday and said hunter was indeed still in...
Does anybody know how long Hunter is going to be there, and if/when Roger goes back as Leo? Thanks!

If Roger comes back as Leo, I will cry as I won't be able to get to New York any time soon... Oh Roger, how I miss you!
Yeah, I won't be able to see him either. I'm just wondering because I'd like to write to Hunter, and Roger...but I don't know when Hunter leaves and when/if Roger comes back.
*Edit*:
Never mind then. I just read that Roger is, indeed, back as Leo starting tomorrow.

Why did they announce this today? Did Hunter get released?

JS....I was wondering the same thing...does anyone know why?

AH HA! Roger is their idea of stunt casting in order to get people to see the show. I like that they are taking him back into the show for the fourth time as Leo. The show didn't do so well these past couple of weeks. Roger will probably get people to see the show because he is so famous. Even though he has done it so many times, the producers might want him in it more than ever.

Hunter wasn't released - he's been doing it for over a year and he didn't opt to renew. Rather than bring in a whole new actor, they brought back Roger Bart, who has been with the show, on and off, since the beginning. He's not stunt casting - they're not touting it as "Now Starring Desperate Housewives' Roger Bart." If they were, you'd have heard about it long before.
I am a fairly new Roger Bart fan. Have had no real desire to see The Producers, but if he comes back to the show, I may go see it.

Who knows? Maybe the show doesn't like to say that they fired someone. What I mean is Roger will bring more people. HE IS GREAT! I think its smart of the producers to get him back into the show. Since he has a credit as a television star on Desperate Housewives, the name will be familiar and people will buy tickets.

I highly doubt they fired Hunter. He's been with the show for nine months, so thats probably how long his contract was for. I doubt you're going to have someone play a role for nine months, and then just fire him now. He also played the role before this stint. There's probably a chance he'll be back whenever they need another Leo, so I doubt they fired him.

Roger is the best Leo, hands down. It's not stunt casting, it's smart casting!
I will be in NY on Wednesday to see Drowsy - I might have to make a side trip to a certain theatre...

Himself? He's said in personal conversations that he was only doing it until May. He's been doing it on and off for two years.

I don't like Bent Bradley that much. However, his picture is weird in a funny way.

Plus they are not afraid to say they fired someone. They fired Henry Goodman few weeks after he joined back in 2002.

OK Hold up! Hunter left because he has a NEW JOB. He was not fired.
Hunter Foster has been cast as Cornelius in The Paper Mill Playhouse production of HELLO, DOLLY! this summer. He will be fantastic and I cannot wait to see him!
Really? Cause I thought playbill.com had already announced the full casting. Well thats great news and may persuade me to go over to Milburn for the thursday matinee when I am on holiday next month.
Wanna be a Foster, unless something has changed, PLAYBILL reported (May 8th) that Jonathan Rayson will be playing Cornelius in Papermill's Hello, Dolly!
Rayson was a replacement Seymour in LSOH on Bway and also on tour.
