alright got my tickets for tonight....center orch row A...once again ill have a recap later on tonight...from what i know now the only cast change is Tina playing julia....which is how it should always be...thats just my opinion...dont kill me! lol
Oh I've got a whole list of comebacks written down. I know you are, but what am I.. rubber and glue, sticks and stones. I can't tell you anymore because he might be reading, but boy am I prepared! Fight fire with fire guys, Wed Heds unite! Ok..maybe not. I've had too much sugar today.
But yeah, Spencer Liff was great in the Wedding Singer. I'm glad he gets to be in the Hairspray movie, I bet that's a lot of fun for him. I didn't know he was coming back though, yay for that.

I was just studying for my science test on astronomy and I fell asleep and had another wedding singer dream.
Nothing much was going on in the dream. I was just sitting in my seat, waiting for the show to start and then my textbook fell on the floor and I woke up.

Why do people who hate this show buy tickets to the final performance?
This I don't understand.
Does anyone any cast info for this Saturday's matinee? I'm going and just wanted to know if there is a chance of any understudies going on.
I may rush for the final show. I don't know if it'll work out since it's New Years Eve, the 'rents might not let me out...but as of now I'm going to attempt it. Or maybe the day before.
Is anyone else planning on rushing?
hey guys-- me and three other friends (4 total) are rushing this saturday's matinee.. what time should we get to the box office to ensure we all get seats?
I'd say latest 8AM. I went about two weeks ago on a Sunday with a friend and we got there a little over two hours in advance and we just got the last few rush tickets. Good luck!
^ I don't think there are any people planning on being out unless they're sick.

hmm so coming from CT, I need to take a train that would get me in line at exactly 7, or exactly 8.. would other people agree to take the train that gets me in at 7 to ensure 4 seats, as much as i'd love to take the later ?
I would go with 7. As annoying as it is, you'll end up having so much fun at the show, it'll be worth it.
Does anyone remember the demo of 'Not That Kind of Thing'? I absolutely adore the lyrics. I think they're so funny.
"can't a guy go shopping and stay awake without being gay or horny?" hehe.

OMG I love that!! Seriously, I laugh more at the demo version for that song than the OBCR version. I was kinda upset when they changed it, haha.
I'm planning on rushing the last show. I'm really hoping people aren't going to camp out... considering I'm probably going to be at work until midnight the night before, and I'd really rather get at least a LITTLE sleep. And really, who wants to camp out in december?

So is it normal for people to get to the box office at 7 am to rush for the Saturday matinee? 'Cause I can't get there that early...I'm at the mercy of my bus trip and how long people take for stops, traffic, etc...

Hey guys. AMAZING show tonight. I'm really tired so not gonna post a ton of endless details.
Tina was of course phenomenal. Haha and she got the bouquet into the mezz again YAY!
In the middle of Pop! when the flower delivery people are supposed to come out the band decided to not start? Lolz so J. Elaine very loudly was all 'HE TO...' then realized no one else was singing and stopped and they all gradually came in. It was really funny.
In 'Casualty of Love' Robyn cracked me up seriously. Nearly peed my pants. In her whole Donatella acting throughout the whole scene she definitely said loud enough to go through the mic 'There's a cat on the table! GET THE CAT OFF THE TABLE!!!" It was hilarious.
And before 'Grow Old With You' when all the impersonators come out J. Elaine randomly walked back off because she forgot the shoebox. Matthew was like cracking up really confused about where she was. Then she randomly reappeared!
Don't remember what part but Tina randomly tripped over Stephen and was like 'I just fell...' It was cute.
I was excited because Amy put the "What's up?" back in after she does her whole little flirting thing with Robbie after the kiss. She hadn't done that in a while.
Ummmmmm and that's it? It was a really good show. Except for some obnoxious lady behind me who answered her phone in the middle of the show and took like 5 minutes to explain she was at a show and couldn't talk. People...
EDIT: Mistress- it really depends on the week and the day and what people are going what time they get there. I got to the box office this morning at 9:30 and there 6 people in front of me which is incredibly rare for a weekday. I don't think you need to get there at 7 but I would say between 8 and 8:30 to be safe. Unfortunately you're on a bus and don't have control but there's still hope. I'm having problems deciding what time to get there on Sunday because it's either a 6:55 bus which will get me there too early or a 7:55 bus which in my opinion will get me there too late so I'm kinda stumped as to what to do as well. I'll probably go in early and then wander around since I don't wanna be first in line.
Drunky: I honestly don't know how many people are going to get rush on the last day because everyone I know that would have been the ones to camp out already bought tix ahead of time!

bwaydreamer pretty much covered everything from tonights show....heres one thing that i saw tho, and this may have been going on at every show, but i dunno. during casualty of love, joberg takes the cat off the table and kicks it to the side of the stage...like full on throws cat in air and kicks lol..maybe hes done it before and ive never noticed, who knows, but it was hysterical....stage door was a lil nuts tonight...pretty big crowd for a thursday night

I think it might be kinda good that Constantine is not staying till the very last show.
On his blog, he says:
I hope you all will come join me for the last weekend of my Wedding Singer run...the weekend of Dec. 1st!!! Dec. 3rd being my last show of course. Scream real loud!! It would awesome to go out with a bang!!!
So, when you say he has over the top fans that he can do nothing about? Um... he is telling them to scream.
I don't know Broadway etiquette, I admit. Maybe screaming is just a really really good thing to show appreciation.

What sucks most about not being able to go tonight. The fact the person I had asked to cover my shift at work, and they told me they couldn't. They called me on my way home last night to tell me things changed and they could. But before they could tell me, my phone dies.... and once I got it back up, they were at there house. Where they don't get a signal from their service. Talk about being **** out of luck.
Oh.... the sadness. lol anyways!
I love Stephen and Tina together, such an amazing mesh of talent. :sighs:
