I was reading the Wedding Singer official site and saw they did things for brides and wedding party members. I read the article about the couple that got engaged onstage too. Has anyone here ever had one of those parties at the show or know of someone who has? It sounds like lots of fun!

On Friday night at TWS there was a bachelorette party in the audience(they were in the back of the orchestra on the side and were pretty psised about it when I heard them talking before the show since the thought they were getting 4th row center seats). After the bows and the reprise of It's Your Wedding Day Kevin introduced the group. He asked the bride when the big day was, etc (she didn't come up onstage or anything). Then they did the usual play out music/dance off stuff.
We've all got our junk and my junk is you!

I did a search for this but couldn't find it mentioned already: Does anyone know how long Kevin Kern will be in for Stephen Lynch? I saw him today and he was amazing in it.
Also, if anyone else saw the evening performance tonight (9/10), what happened in Act two in the scene where Robbie comes home in his suit and Julia and his grandma are on the porch? There were some snickers from the audience and Tina started cracking up and tried several times to say her line to Robbie, but was laughing too hard. Then she turned around with her back to the audience to compose herself before going on. But I apparently missed whatever was going on. Does anyone know? Thanks

bway,I read somewhere that Robbie had an open zipper. If that rumor is true, it would explain the snickers/laughter. :)

No. Stephen is on vacation. He will return on Tuesday making Sunday afternoon the understudy's last performance as Robbie for a while.

Thanks NY, that explains a lot. Once she composed herself, he pointed to his pants and everyone started laughing again. Then at the very very end when they're all dancing, he said something like "I checked this time!"

Plus I wouldn't mind seeing Mr. Kern's zipper down. YUMMY.

I just came form a wedidng where they played Grow Old With You as the cake-cutting song. It was the Adam Sandler version, but I spazzed just the same.
My cousin did that for her wedding in July. it wasn't that much of a suprise since she told me, but it was cute all the same. hehe
OH and yesterday's matinee there was a bachelorette party in the first row. also most of the first row minus two rush seats paid FULL PRICE for those seats. (there were many disappointed rushers on the line Sat morning)
