Aww, poor T. Oliver, I hope that everything turns out ok.
The real question is who plays who in the Vegas scene if Tracee misses a show (since Eric understudies Fake Mr. T and Fake Tina Turner).

I tried to backtrack through a few pages, but I don't have time to read some of these 70 pages of this thread.
Is Andy Karl in for David? Isn't it "replacement" crazy right now?
I know of Kevin Kern on, who was my Les Mis Marius, and of course the fast-approaching official start of Constantine, and double-of course Tina. I caught some info about T. being injured (aww) but are Richard, Felicia, Kevin, etc. still in?

Yes, they are in still.
"People that excel in the arts understand that the journey is the reward...the result an added bonus. Every day I act or train is a blessing and a dream come true. If Broadway beckons so be it. I have a personal definition of success that is unshakable by a possibly unobtainable goal." -HamletWasBipolar

How's Mr. Karl in the role?
"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer
"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher

Andy is fantastic. He does a lot of things different from David, but different in a good way. He has this amazingly, funny voice as "David Fonda" (the drunk guy at the wedding) and he changes up the speech a lot. I laughed so hard...also, he looks very good in a suit :-P He seems to be having a lot of fun up there and you could never tell he has only been in the show for two weeks!

Hey all - just figured this would be the place to ask - how early do you suggest getting to the theater for student rush now that Constantine is in the show? Has the line gotten any crazier? Thanks in advance.

Rush on Wednesday was really easy. My friend was the only one there till like 9:15, and even then there were maybe like 6 people behind her by 10:00. Don't know about Thursday, though.

As far as I can tell, rush hasn't changed at all since Constantine's been in the show. But this weekend might be a different story, who knows. :)

I have only watched The View a few times. Today, I turned it on right before Rosie gave the tickets away. The audience was sure excited, They even had confetti floating down.
Darn glad I'm going to be seeing this show this weekend. Seems like there's a lot of publicity on it lately.

Andy Karl is absolutely fantastic in the show. He takes what worked for David and takes it to another level, plus he manages to put his own spin on all of it. He's absolutely hysterical, and a ridiculously talented dancer - I haven't seen him in a show where he really, really gets to dance since Altar Boyz last year, and its absolutely amazing to watch him up there. He's wonderful.

yea, im never even home to see the view but today i was and i just happened to turn it on and orsie said something about broadway so i immediately started listening and ive heard theyve been giving a lot of stuff out this week so i was like, that would be amazing if they got wedding singer tickets (cause i saw someone give them out before, but i cant remember who), then next thing i know, shes like i hope you all like broadway because youre getting tickets to go see the wedding singer!!!! and then they mentioned that it was starring constantine mouralis (sry if i spelled it wrong). it seriously made my day!!
then after that i went to our theatre to go do some tech work and the costume head was there and he was talking about how he say the show this past summer and thought it was halarious!!! that made me happy!!! lol. so im hoping he considers it as a show we go see for our ny trip in the spring, but even more so, i hope its still open then!
ha ha, ok, sry, ive deff been on a wedding singer high all day!! ha ha, im done now!

I get to see the show tomorrow!!! I am so excited to finally get to see a Broadway show. Everything is set. All I got to do is get there.
I wonder when the tickets Rosie gave away were for? Maybe tonight?
And Sunday is Broadway on Broadway. Looks like TWS song is smack in the middle of the event. Should be loads of people there to see the cast perform.
A whirlwind weekend is in store for me.

The middle of page 2? Had to bump this baby back up...
So awesome about The View. I hope the people who got the tickets fall in love with it and go to see it more than once. Also hope they tell all their friends that it's a must see.
Good luck to all the people doing Rush today! Hope you all get tickets!

Awww, bway, don't be depressed. You'll be back in NYC soon!
I'm too lazy to read the whole thread, but do any of you have Kevin Cahoon's band's CD? The songs on myspace are awesome! I just ordered the CD and can't wait to hear all the songs.

yeah i dont have any of his cds
i wish Laura, Amy, or Felicia (or all of them) had cds!!!
but yeah, i just remember when i went to NYC... i got off the plane at like 10:30, and my family was going to head over to THE PRODUCERS to get rush tickets. i didnt really wanna see the show though, and the only reason we were going is because i know someone in the cast so i could go backstage. but then we found out PRODUCERS doesnt do rush on saturday, so immediately i thought, 'LETS TRY THE WEDDING SINGER!" so we get to the Al Hirschfeld theatre around noon and i was like "oh i really hope we can get rush" but i didnt think we would since we were so late. but we did, and we got row B, and i was super excited. it was a great way to start my NYC trip!
yeah, that is my WEDDING SINGER inspirational story.
:P
anyone else want to share?
