I don't like it sometimes when the star's name are as big as the title. If the average person was reading that it would like that the title of the show is the name including the title of show, example " Patti Lupone Gypsy" which is way different from reading "Patti Lupone in Gypsy".
Anyway, just something that always bugged me, cause if I knew nothing about the show or theater and for some reason I happen to find myself reading that tile, I would be navie to think that all three names are the title of the show.
But since I work in theater I know how it goes, with the name above the title and always has to be the same size as the show (depending on the star value), but it is just funny cause my sister(who does not like theater and or knows anything about it) asked me if I was planning to see "Patti Lupone Gypsy" as if it was one title. Made me laugh!
Ok, I wrote enough...later!
"In the U.S.A.
You can have your say,
You can set you goals
And seize the day,
You've been given the freedom
To work your way
To the head of the line-
To the head of the line!"
---Stephen Sondheim

Edit : you got me fooled! norn .. - they should have "damn" hired YOU!! - what are they thinking????? Updated On: 1/16/08 at 11:57 AM
It seemed a long shot to me, given that Norn did that artwork a while back, but Patti did put it on her Facebook page, so I figured maybe she had convinced the producers to use some real artwork for once.
