I just did a search for it on iTunes and got nothing, but if this is true - I will certainly be purchasing it.

The label released Bonnie & Clyde on itunes a week before the hard copy was available so it sounds right.

Typically iTunes uploads releases between 11pm and 12am the night before the release, and Lyssie J is still nowhere to be found. It isn't looking good so far.

On the bright side, the H2$ Jonas EP is out and sounds great!

I was really looking forward to this, but I can't make it past the first number. Does it seem a little off and lackluster for anyone else?

It's definitely produced to be more of a pop record than a musical theatre album.

Still think it deserved a Tony nom.

The clips sound fine too me. I does sound pop, but I don't think it's "too pop" and the score kind of allows for it.

I think the album is fantastic. Sounds as it did in the theatre to my ears.

Great to have a record of a show that would otherwise be lost to time. I'm sure it will have a healthy life in amateur venues, too.

I saw the show a few times, and the only song that seems a little odd is "Hold On" because the harmonies are mixed a little oddly, but the entire recording as a whole is wonderful. I agree with an above poster - it should have gotten a Tony nomination - it's a fun, tuneful score in a season where memorable scores are few and far between.

Some of the lyrics are cringeworthy (Beane should have written the lyrics, too), but the music is infectious and the performers charming.

Is there still a cast albums chart or does itunes only list soundtracks now? I'm curious to know how well the album is doing.

It was a front-runner for the Tony's for a while. I think Leap of Faith was nominated to increase sales of the show, otherwise Lysistrata would have got that spot.

^I don't really understand the Leap nomination. If it was an attempt to help a struggling show it didn't work so in hindsight it should have probably gone to Lysistrata or Bonnie and Clyde if they were so hell-bent on not nominating Ghost.
