Also, what about Gavin Creel/Matt Cavenaugh (they look enough alike, either will do), and Aaron Tveit as the newcomer. And Will Swenson. Or Nick Adams. Pretty much anyone would do. I want to be involved with this show. :P

Why not combine your ideas and just make a musical about the Gaiety?
Oh. Right...that would require an imagination that expands outside of TV and film. Can't have that on Broadway.

Was the Gaiety just a male cheesecake show, or was it a full-on sex-show or brothel? I've heard it mentioned so many times as a beloved place of ill repute, but what KIND it was is always left out.
Hell, if they can do "The Donkey Show," they can do "Gaiety."
