All tour announcements over the next month should be considered Tony Award propaganda for road voters. The only possible tour announcement we should take seriously is if Disney announces a tour for Frozen, as Disney only tours a show it it has already turned a profit on Broadway.

It was pretty obvious Mean Girls would tour. It’ll be a massive hit on the road.

Tour will launch in Buffalo, NY Fall 2019.

As a longtime subscriber of Shea's, this is incredible news. Lately the tours that have been launching haven't been huge hits on Broadway (FINDING NEVERLAND, ON YOUR FEET, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY).

Mean Girls was a pleasant surprise - worked better than I anticipated, and will - no doubt - find an eager audience on the road.

Felt like the songs didn’t quite live up to the talent they had, but it was a lot of fun. And I agree that it should do well on the road
