Even if one can set that aspect of Jackson's life aside, to me it is a tragedy that even in death he cannot escape rampant  exploitation to the degree that the man, however talented, however flawed, will be obfuscated forever and turned into a revenue-generating IP like Mickey Mouse.

I was surprised to see that the national tour of MJ the musical closed yesterday. I don't remember seeing a notice posted.
