Aren't their contracts up? Do we know any rumors with replacements?

Mandy?
Is he like Cher or Madonna? Only one name required?
Mandy Gonzalez and Katie Rose Clarke, smart ass.
Katie is done around the same time as Mandy (1/11/11)
In terms of replacements...no one knows for sure. Everything from SJB to Donna to even Kerry have all been suggested. All of these have been proven false. I personally think they are going to do a pattern

Recycled Elphaba
New Elphaba
Recycled Elphaba
New Elphaba
(Like Marcie-Nicole/Dee-Mandy) So perhaps someone recycled will come in while they hire/train a new one?
Jai Rodriguez will be playing Glinda and Cheyenne Jackson will be Elphaba. Sales are starting to drop so the show now needs a gimmick if they want to stay open.
Ya gotta get a gimmick...
Praying for Jackie Burns to come to Broadway...

I'm sorry Capn, but you can clearly only have one name if you wish to play these roles. So Jai and Cheyenne it is!
oh nasty_khakis THAT IS SO FUNNY! do you write your own material?! that is so original what you said. GOD YOURE FUNNY!

I'm pretty positive Katie is contracted to play through September of next year. No joke.
This casting is news to me - I hope he treats Katie Rose Clarke a little better than he did Toni Collette.
Steven22---I'm praying for Jackie Burns as well!!!
To be fair, suttonfoster, I had NO idea who you were talking about until someone mentioned the last names. Perhaps you should add them to the subject title.

Mandy's last performance is 1/09/11
I believe she has extended.

I've heard the next Broadway Elphaba is a recycled one. I hope it is either Alexia Khadime or Teal Wicks.
Teal Wicks couldn't handle the role 8 times a week, and almost never did 8 shows a week. I highly doubt they'll bring her into the flagship production.

^ So, it may be either Alexia Khadime or Teal Wicks? Which one?
I'd also like Carmen Cusack to come to Broadway, but she is contracted with "South Pacific" till the Toronto stop.

My guess would be TW - she has been doing some Wicked previews lately, and is working with Stephen Schwartz in "The Blue Flower"...so it kind of makes sense, no? Plus, she's gorgeous and talented.
I would love for Donna Vivino to play Elphaba with the Broadway company.
I've actually dug around a bit, and apparently it is Ms. Wicks, much to my disappointment.

I'm sure everyone who wants to see a particular someone in the part is disappointed when their someone doesn't get the call. I'm going to trust in the powers that be to make a good choice. They've been doing this for awhile, now, and seem to be pretty successful. Updated On: 12/15/10 at 02:27 PM
