MTC has finally caught up with Roundabout and Lincoln Center to offer a "youth" ticket policy. $30 to all their shows to anyone 30 and younger.
"Get your tickets in advance - No more waiting in the student rush line:
All available tickets to MTC productions are $30 for members of the 30 UNDER 30 Club and can be purchased in advance. MTC will send periodic emails with details about performances that are available for the upcoming weeks. Tickets can be purchased online, over the phone, or at the box office.
In addition, members will be invited to MTC ’s 7@7, our signature new play reading series. See new plays before anyone else – past play readings have included David Auburn’s Proof , David Lindsey Abaire’s Fuddy Meers, Stephen Adly Guirgis’ The Little Flower of East Orange, and Adam Rapp’s Red Light Winter."

Now the whole world has another reason to freak out about turning 30. The loss of discount Manhattan Theater Club tickets will cause many a mid-life crisis.
Adam Rapp?
That made literally laugh out loud, Trekkie.
EDIT: Adam Rapp is a Pulitzer-nominated playwright, Nitsua, his brother is Anthony Rapp.
I so thought it was a typo. My bad.

For the record, RED LIGHT WINTER is a brilliant play.

Playwrights Horizons has a membership for people 30 & Under which basically works out to $20 per ticket. Go to the Playwrights Horizons website and look for "FLEXPASS 4 or 6 Ticket" and click on "More Info."
So you don't have to have a mid-life crisis until you turn 31. :)

Already registered. :)
Registered!
I registered as well. Wish they had this last year when I went to see LOVEMUSIK, but I'll definitely be using this for TOP GIRLS, can't wait.
I registered, it will be good for a few years anyway. And it's similar to the cost of a TDF ticket. I wonder if you get to choose your seats or not.
Thanks for sharing this....I signed up! yay!

Great, thanks!! Everyone knows under-30 is the new under-25.
Why are all these things popping up just as I turned 30? Argh...
(and why can't they be cool like Roundabout and round up to 35?)
Just in time for my 30th birthday!
