I guess over here Jewish culture isnt as much a part of mainstream culture as it is in the US.

I'm not sure where "over here" is. But, in general, from what I have seen in previous threads and posts, it does seem the majority of people here do seem to know what it means.

Over here is the UK, and Jewish culture, in general, is not as much a part of the mainstream culture here as it is in the US. But thats not what this thread is about, i just wanted to clear something up.

algoo and life_so_far, I'm afraid you made a grammatical error. It's not "to who," it's "to whoooommm." You see, with the use of the preposition "to," "who" becomes the indirect object, making the use of the word "whom" imperative, which I can easily show you by drawing a VERY SIMPLE CHART! lol Also, that was an imcomplete sentence. The correct question should have been "To WHOM is she getting married?"
