Does anyone know when her contract expires? I want to get a ticket like really soon.

For some reason March sticks out in my brain. But I could be totally pulling that out of my ass.

I was thinking May, but I might just think that because she started in May. Are her and Ben Vereen leaving at the same time?

Probably not because Ben Vereen had the option of leaving today I think. He just renewed his contract. I'm now thinking Megan may be leaving May 28 becasue thats the weekend JLT left.

Megan signed a one year contract so she's there until at least late May. She could always extend.

haaaaaaaa. love the new avatar, PJ
Technically, it's May 28, 2006. But who knows, if she's nominated for Best Replacement Tony she might extend.

i hope she does... i want to see her again!

She deserves to win best replacement.
She DOES deserve to win best replacement -- and I have a feeling she'll extend. She just seems right in Wicked for a while, you know what I mean?

Can Eden get nominated?
Everyone seems to be really excited about Eden. I can't wait to hear how she does. I heard nothing but INCREDIBLE things about her in SF when she did the tour.

Actually there's no nominations, there may not even be a winner. And of course Eden is can get nominated.

I meant like...is there a deadline for when the person had to begin their run in the show? For instance, for some movie award show...don't know which one it is...my theatre arts teacher told us the movie has to have its premeire before January 1st of the year of the awards.

Oh well than still yea the deadline will probably be the same as opening night for all shows.
The cut-off dates for the Tony's are May 10 and for the Replacement Tony, I believe you have to be in the show for 6 months.
I have no idea, but get tickets as soon as possible because she was FANTASTIC in the role!
There are stipulations which I'm sure you could find on the Tony website...but I think a replacement has to be with the show for at least 6 months.

SO will Eden be eligable since she won't have been in it for 6 months by tony time, but she will be contrected for over 6 months? I'd rather Megan win anyway.

No, but if she stays in until Oct. 10 she will be eligible for the 2007 Tony's.
EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, I don't know if she would have to stay until Oct. 10 or July 8...it depends on if months that did not add up to 6 the year before rollover.
I know this is horribly premature, but does anyone know if Eden's contracted for a year, or only 6/9 months? Because I'd dearly like to see her as Elphaba again and if she's in it for at least a year, then I could probably save my pennies without too much fuss to get back there Which would be the craziest thing I could ever do, but I'm verrry tempted.

Count on Eden being there for a full twelve months.

I hope she stays because I plan on having another trip to New York and I would LOVE to see her in Wicked again...
OMG you scared me! I saw the title and thought that she was leaving already! I don't know when her contract expires but I sure do hope she stays awhile. She is really amazing.
Eden is not staying a full year. She is only staying the length of her first contract. When I spoke to her, she didn't know an exact date, but she said she will be leaving in October.
