Price: $25.00 + $1.50 = $26.50
A limited number of student rush tickets will be available day of performance for purchase at the box office. Tickets will be sold at 10am to anyone with a valid student ID (max of 2 tickets per person.)
Right now, student rush tickets are only available for preview performances. Additional student rush performances TBD.

Wrong. I asked the box office guy last week (I forget the exact date) and he confirmed that the rush policy is in place for the entire run.

Posted: 9/25/09 at 6:41pmAny idea if this is a "tough" Student Rush. Like, do I need to get there when it opens, or can I probably get by with getting there around 6?

Posted: 9/25/09 at 7:41pmYeah, if its whatever's available, you can get there at any time and get in. Its not like its selling out, that's for sure.

I was up in the balcony.
I'm 99% sure it's whatever's left.

Posted: 9/30/09 at 2:32amI got there about 10 minutes after the box office opened on Sunday and was given front row. My guess is it's front row and then whatever's left.

Posted: 9/30/09 at 5:30amI'm going to guess that "whatevers left" may not be the permanent policy. If it starts to sell well (which sounds unlikely from the comments so far) they will most likely cap it. they are there to make money and will not give unlimited seats away for 20% of their face value. Even selling them at TKTS brings in more money.

Here's the rush policy: rush far, far away!
Sorry, the joke had to be made. :P

Posted: 10/18/09 at 8:57pmI have a question, do you think Memphis will have rush tickets for Opening Night? Do shows do that, or no?
#14re: Memphis Rush Question
Posted: 10/18/09 at 11:56pmmigioso's right, I got there about 20 minutes before the box office opened and was given the first two seats in the front row so it seems to be that and then whatever they have left.

That is exactly what one should do. Avoid this disaster like the plague.
