I was able to buy 2 tix for the Regal Union Square, bought today at around 4pm. Earlier every NYC theater had come up as sold out.
I had no problem buying tix for a friend to the USQ showing a few moments ago.

I bought tickets for the AMC Empire because the sound in the theaters is always turned up very loud. For Les Miserable it was perfect, for Pacific Rim, not so much -needed earplugs!
I am shocked its playing here in Palm Springs. U bet your ass I will be there. Does anyone know which version they produced?

FYI: They just added a second 7pm showing in USQ.
For anyone who wants tickets but didn't get them yet, you can go to fandango.com and under search, plug in merrily we roll along. Give a zip code and email addy and Fandango will let you know when a show is playing near you. I originally wanted to see it in New York. Sold out. So I plugged in a CT zip code in case it opened up near my home. Got an email the next day that tickets were available at a nearby theater.

Question: I don't know how these things generally go, but is it likely or possible that this production will end up being released on DVD or Blu-ray eventually?
I have a different question - as I am not very familiar with the content of the show. Is there content which is inappropriate for a 12 year old?
The local theatre has a PG-13 rating on it - which suggests not. But, just checking.

It is totally fine for a 12-year-old. They might find it a little boring, but there's nothing really inappropriate. There is a mild seduction song/scene, but I'm not sure how it's staged in this production.
