Grazie! I thought "All Star" was pretty catchy, and the opening guitar on "Powerlines" is very cool.

I thought so too. I was immediately smitten, which says a lot because it took me a whle to warm up to Dog Eared. I just like his pop stuff better. I think he's gotten back in touch with the Lame days. Guess I tend to like his music better when someone hasn't just ripped his heart out.

I'm loving these new songs!! They are timely since I've currently been playing Dog Eared obsessively :)
Yeah, i'm definitley ready to hear an album from him that isn't totally focused on a break-up...although, it has come in handy on certain days!

He once mentioned something about how they just got ****-faced and recorded certain songs. He said it was like therapy.
Still, I can't listen to it without thinking "poor baby".
Though the lyrics to "All Star" are quite sad, as I am sure they are also somewhat autobiographical.
Oh, yeah, I definitley feel sad for him everytime i hear it, but now that it's been a few years, i'm ready for some new stuff!
What a Sweeney!
