I just stopped by to share the Michael love! I had a nice little conversation with him this afternoon. What a great guy!

Very classy guy.
I appreciate his sense of style and the care he takes with his dress, his well-tailored suits.
He was wonderful in Titanic, very dramatic singer; I enjoy that CD often.

I know some of the things Cerveris has done but I wouldn't say that I follow his career. Mostly, I just think he's hot. I think he tends to shy away from that whole "sex symbol" thing. I'm seeing Sweeney tomorrow and I so wish I had the stones to stage door.

Michael Cerveris is one of my favorite stage actors, ever since I heard his awesome "Ballad of Booth" on the Assassins CR. I was in NYC a few weeks ago, and there was NO way I was going to NY without seeing Sweeney Todd. I thought he was just wonderful - the voice, the presence, the insanity... sigh... I could go on and on. Big fan!
he's had a fantastic career so far, and i'm sure it will only get better for him in the future!
moxie - i've heard he's wonderful at the stage door! personally, i tend not to do the "stage dooring" thing, but from what i understand, if there's any stage door to go to, it's theirs. they have all been said to be very personable and spend a good amount of time talking with fans.
i might have to actually suck it up and just do it before the show eventually closes!

I've heard he's a doll at the door. I can't wait at the door even if I wanted to. The guy I'm dating is coming in from Boston for the night before he heads off to a bachelor party/wedding week thingy in Long Island. I bought the tix before we started dating so I couldn't exchange them.
oh, okay!
well, have fun at the show. i sat in the same seat (although in row BB, not AA) last week and it was amazing!!
Michael Cerveris is awesome in SWEENEY TODD!

I saw a Saturday matinee of SWEENEY a couple of weeks ago, and I thought it was so nice that Michael Cerveris came out of the stage door to greet fans even though he didn't have any plans to leave the theatre between shows. He just came out, signed autographs & talked to people, and went back in. He's great performing with his band, so try and get to see him if you can, when he plays in a club.

Mr. Cerveris certainly won me over with his performance as Sweeney Todd. He was just delightfully evil and creepy and a bit heartbreaking. I only wish that I had seen "Assassins" for both him and Neil Patrick Harris.
I'm going to be in NYC this weekend for my birthday and decided that I needed to spend part of the day Sunday "attending the tale" (for the third time). I don't do the stage door thing either, but may make an exception, except that I'm really too old for that...
Enjoy the show tonight Moxie!

I do appriciate Michael Cerveris. His answers to the Ask a Star questions on Broadway.com are hilarious.

He seemed especially uncomfortable about answering the "Are you single?" question. I respect how closed off he is about his personal life. I think that's part of the reason he can play the dark charachters that he does so well.

You'll appreciate him even more after tonight, Moxie. Of that I'm certain. He was fabulous. Enjoy the show.

What's th theatre like? Does it get really cold? Is it small? Like, how close is row AA to the stage?
Michael is awesome. I first heard him in Sweeney, and he was amazing. Then I got Asssassins, and he was fantastic. His "Ballad of Booth" is amazing! Can't wait to see him next Saturday!

The theater is old-fashioned and ornate and gorgeous. It was pretty small. Yes, it was cold, though not uncomfortable. Row AA? You'll be right up in their business.
Bring an umbrella!
blueroses: Will I be able to see? I am sitting in Row AA this Saturday and don't want to have a pain in my neck.
EDIT: Stupid typos!
