I love this! Everyone banged on about how Britney was gonna fail at her tour, cancel them etc etc...she's done every show so far to great reviews.
People queue for hours and pay hundreds of pounds for tickets to MJ and he's not even gonna do the shows (btw all those with tickets read the small print, tickets are non-refundable!)

He now opens on the 13th July.

I just don't get how anyone thinks he can pull this off?
I want him to put on a great show, but he is a frail man who is a mere shadow of what he was in his glory days. He's got an unrecognizable face and I don't imagine his singing/dancing is up what it used to be.
The best we can hope is that they have enough bells and whistles in the show to distract people from what is really going on.
Similar to that of Britneys 'comeback', sure she was never an all singing/dancing performer but she used to 'bring it', now she goes through the motions convincing nobody she's ok.

I saw some press which suggested he is having further surgery to "restore" his nose before these concerts.

Just read in the londonpaper tonight the confirmation that he swapped the 8th for the 13th July for his opening night.
Which must be the first time Jackson has preffered a 13 over an 8 when it comes to dates.....

Sure there's a god... just look at how shiny white he's made MJ! Most people would have to resort to something as drastic as cosmetic surgery to change their skin colour, and MJ's managed it entirely through faith.
