I love Millie! And unfortunately for me and all the other non dancers, all the roels are dance roles. Miss Dorothy is the least dancish.

I'm sure if I were to be on Millie, I'd pay for a couple of tap classes. :)

I really wanted to like this show when I saw it on Broadway, but I absolutely hated it.

I did the same thing with CATS, i tried to like it, but i mean come on, they're damn cats dancing around for 2 hours...not my idea of a night well spent. I'd say it's probably one of the worst shows I've ever seen.

I loved Millie though. Very cute show.

I didn't see Thoroughly Modern Millie, but I have the cast recording. Not my favorite, but some of the songs are cute.

Funny that this topic should come up now...I've just downloaded 4 songs from the show and I am OBSESSED. Not for the life of me, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Forget About the Boy, and Gimme Gimme are AMAZING. I can't get them out of my head and I listen to the songs everytime I walk by my IPod! :-P...it would have been nice to support the show.

One of my favorite shows. Not because its a theatrical masterpeice which it is not at all but because it is sheer unadulturated fun. Sutton Foster was beyond amazing in this show. She was rapturous and really wonderful.

Woo! Go tap!!! I like some of the songs...others not so much. Still I hope I can see it sometime.

I loved Millie! I saw it three times with Sutton and her understudy once. It was a very entertaining show, I miss it.

I loved "Millie" too. Saw it twice from the first row with Sutton. The CD has wonderful sound and whenever I play it,it raises my spirits.

re: Millie- Great show!

I LOVED Millie in a total dorky love for big splashy musical kinda way. I saw it an embarassing amount of times over the course of two years and saw, I think, 5 different actresses as Millie.

Loved it.

Miss Dorothy has a pretty intense dance scene with Trevor Graydon that includes one or two pretty complex moves.

re: Millie- Great show!

Yeah I saw the tour last month and I really wasn't impressed. I love the cast recording and maybe my expectations were too high, but it left me a little disappointed.

The choreography was amazing. Probably some of the best I've seen, right behind that of "Forty-Second Street." The costumes were also very clever, and with the exception of the boy who played Jimmy the cast was very outstanding.

But as a whole, I just didn't appreciate the show itself.

re: Millie- Great show!

I was a big fan of the cast recording, mostly because Sutton blew me away. I saw the tour in SD a few months back and I liked the show, but I was a little disappointed with Darcy Roberts. Actually, I would have been disappointed with anyone playing Millie. Sutton't vocals (I never got to see her live) were so superior to Darcy's.

I love Thoroughly Modern Millie. Everything about it. I saw it more times than I can count!

Although Susan Egan worked her behind off, it just wasn't the same after Sutton Foster left.

I love Millie! I saw it once with Megan Campbell and it was great fun, and the songs were awesome.

re: Millie- Great show!

Non dancing roles include:
Daphne and Dexter in the restaurant scene
Police officer
Dishwashers
Dorothy Parker
and a few other bit parts.
Also, I don't think Ching Ho and Bun Foo did much dancing, but they did a lot of moving around.
And yes, Millie was a lot of fun!
