Updated to add Private Lives, and to move LND to unlikely.
Likely: Mary Poppins (November 2011) War Horse (Spring 2012) Kim Cattrall in Private Lives (Pre-Broadway) Fela! [title of show] (Although most likely wouldn't be subscription)
Updated to add a an unnamed play this summer (but I don't think it will be on subscription) and also maybe Colin Quinn: Long Story Short.
Unconfirmed, rumours & speculation: -Mary Poppins (November 2011) -War Horse (Spring 2012) -Private Lives (Pre-Broadway, Kim Cattrall) -Fela! -[title of show] -Colin Quinn: Long Story Short -summer play
Possibly/Unlikely/Late 2012?: -Love Never Dies -Looped -Rebecca
The TOS rumour simply exists because Angelwalk posted a webisode which said at the end "see you at the Panasonic in 2011" (or something similar). The video was removed and reposted without that tag at the end, within a day or less. Mirvish might have nothing to do with it. Also since we haven't heard anything since then, I'm assuming it won't be happening.
Ok they announce Jan 26 The Railway Children will play May 2011. Then this week they say Feb 08 is when the Subscription season is going to be announced. I would kinda make sense, that the first show of the Subscription Season would be the Railway children. Ok here is the Season
1.The Railway Children (May 2011) 2. War Horses 3. Mary Poppins (Nov 2011) 4. Rebecca 5. Something from the Manitoba theatre. 6. Andrew Lloyd Webber show. Love Never dies.
And after these show`s are announced and people sign up for Subsciption and then after they have your money they will announce the much better shows that are not in the Subscription series that you will have to pay extra for if you want to go. And so you dont feel bad they will give Subscribers 20% off for the show`s that will not sell out.
Pretty sure I'm not subscribing this year, but I will be attending the announcement for kicks. I'm sure even if I don't subscribe I'll be seeing at least one Mirvish show this year!
I saw Mary Poppins in London a few years ago and wasn't very impressed with it so unless all the other shows REALLY interest me I don't see the value in subscribing.
Someone wrote on the Mirvish Faacebook wall that they heard a rumour that Wizard of Oz was going into the Panasonic this summer. lol I'm pretty sure they misconstrued that information from a post I made here stating that there would be a play at the Panasonic this summer and that it ALSO looked likely that Wizard of Oz (from the West End) would be in next years season or in the near future.
That's actually hilarious to assume because there's no way a show like OZ would fit at the Panasonic.... the stage really isn't that big. Even WWRY had to undergo a major downsize to fit.
