... looks really, really cool.
Costumes look positively divine, though I'm not sure how I feel about a shirtless wolf. Thoughts?
LOVE the eye!
Euan Morton is a treasure!

Who are half of those people? And is that the Dior dress Marion Cotillard wore to the Oscars, or just a cheap knockoff?

The pictures don't really show much but the costumes. But I'd see it.

Lumen -
The cast is made up of a lot of Kansas City actors, for example KC Comeaux (Jack) was Peter in a production of Bare at the Unicorn Theatre, a local KC theatre.
Thank you for posting the link to those photos, Pgenre - they look fantastic. I would have never thought of a Moises Kaufman/Sondheim pairing, but I'm very intrigued. Wonder if there is any chance that it could transfer from KC to NYC ...
Ooooo! Looks spell-binding!!!
What do you mean who are these people?
Half of them are recent NYC talent, who Im sure have nice ties to Kansas City Rep. The others are probably some sweet local talent.
We all know Euan Morton.
Michelle Ragusa was last seen in Young Frankenstein (took over Megan Mullallys role), and a few Paper Mill roles up her sleeve.
Claybourne Elder was last seen opposite Alexander Gemignani in Road Show at the Public.
Brynne OMalley has played the Bakers Wife twice this summer now (last seen in a production of Into The Woods with Beth Leavel at Pittsburgh CLO), plenty of Paper Mill credits not to mention Broadways Sunday in the Park with George (Roundabout), Hairspray and Beauty and the Beast
I didn't mean the actors, I meant the characters. Not that hard to decipher.
Looks...interesting. Though I agree, we're only getting a good look at the costumes, the majority of which I like.
The eyeball (and the glasses) are weird out of context, lol, as well as Euan's tree branch collar, though that's just weird in any way.
I swear the stepsister's outfits look like something my avatar has worn

The wolf sort of has a Wolverine hairdo. Weird. But the rest of the costumes look wonderful.
I think it looks Amazing!
I always thought the Wolf's song and Litttle Red's after that were about sexual awakening (like GIANT'S IN THE SKY) so a shirtless Wolf is fine with me.
Laurn Worsham looks like a young Brynn O'Malley,
And Michelle Ragusa looks splendid but nothing like Michelle Ragusa.
Is she related to Dee Ravioli?
Who know's about Kansas City Rep?
Looks like they know what they are doing.
Guest Artist's contracts?

Totally off-topic, Sweet, but who is that a picture of?
Lady Gaga, bleeding to death.
And Gaga's pose is an homage to SUSPIRIA by Dario Argento, first ripped off in an American film in the guise of Drew Barrymore's macabre demise in the beginning of Wes Craven's SCREAM.
The poster for SUSPIRIA is a fascinating artistic rendering of this moment, making the woman appear to be both a spinning ballerina (the movie is about a ballet academy run by witches) and a hung corpse. Freaky.

Am I the only one who does see what is unconventional about this production?
Wow! It looks so interesting! Now that they added more pictures, you get to see more of the concept (telling a bedtime story, I'd like to say... not quite sure yet), and I'm really intrigued!
The role of Florinda will always have a special place in my heart... so fun to be so bitchy!
This looks like a fascinating production... I wish I knew more about the concept, with the little boy being told the story. The costumes and set look excellent.

It's a very interesting production with some terrific performances. I caught it last night.
If anyone finds themselves in the KC area, definitely check it out. It plays through Oct. 4.
And if anyone would like to see some backstage photos, our very on Linda Lenzi visited with the cast:

The costumes are stunning. And I love how the set is a house with the woods growing out of it. Very interesting conceptually. I would love to see it.
And how has no one commented on Claybourne Elder? Hey there!

I honestly have no clue who Clayborne Elder is, but my god... he is gorgeous. I really like the costumes, particularly the abstract look they used for the steps (which I think is very clever). Boy did that picture of the wolf terrify me, but maybe that's what they were going for!
I also don't know who he is. But he's so beautiful that I don't care.

Agreed. I added him on Facebook for the sole reason of him being hot.
I don't think he accepts random people on facebook. I tried during ROAD SHOW, lol.
