What's going on in the city tonight? With most theatres closed tonight. Where are actors going to perform?

because of the recession, all actors work at either the Olive Garden or Applebee's on Mondays.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I know that Rock of Ages has a Monday night performance. Any other shows? Any expected performers at local piano bars, comedy clubs etc?

BBAJ, Chicago, Phantom, Next to Normal, and Lombardi have performances, as do many off-broadway shows including Ave Q and 39 steps.

There is going to be a benefit concert for Shannon Tavarez (Young Nala from The Lion King) tonight at 9:30pm at The Metropolitan Room. There are going to be cast members from The Lion King and Spring Awakening performing. There is a $15 cover charge (which goes to Shannon) and a two drink minimum. There is also a raffle happening with signed broadway posters and tickets to shows.

Maybe they're taking the day of on their day off. Just because they are actors doesn't mean they are going to work every single day.

Birdland has Jim Caruso's Cast Party on Monday nights. I don't think there are any scheduled Broadway performers tonight, but it's always a fun time regardless.
