I can't get anything to play at Rhapsody. It adds all the songs to the list when I click play, but the songs don't actually play. What am I doing wrong?

God..."Those you've you known" makes me bawl. I need to go see this show again and tue. needs to be here now.

BTW: does anyone know, would I be able to go to the theatre just to get the cd during non show hours? Like tomorrow before 11am or after 7pm?

The theatre is one of the most expressive and useful instruments for the edification of a country; it is also the barometer which makes its greatness or its descent. A theatre which is sensitive and well oriented in all its branches from tragedy to vaudeville can in a few years change the sensibilty of the people; theatre which has been destroyed, in which cloven hooves take the place of wings, can put to sleep an entire nation. A people that does not aid and encourage its theatre is moribund if not dead; the theatre which does not gather to itself the best of society, of history, the drama of its people and the genuine color of its landscape and its spirit, with laughter or tears, does not deserve to call itself theatre, but rather a place for that horrible thing which is called killing time.- Federico Garcia Lorca

Interesting that they are censoring the song titles on the back of the CD. Amazon's track listing includes "b*tch" and f*cked" but on Best Buy's website, they include the full title of the songs.

I've been listening to this on Rhapsody (using free music accounts)
Well, since I'm using a free account, I can only have 25 song plays
I just had to start a new account because I used one account listening to "Purple Summer" 25 times :)
That song is GORGEOUS! Seriously, if there was a Tony award for Best Song, that would be a major contender! And who is the soloist at the beginning of the song. Her (or maybe its his) voice is amazing!

That is Lauren Pritchard who sings the beginning of "Purple Summer". She also sings "Blue Wind". I absolutely love her voice. It's very unique and unlike a lot of the voices I have been hearing on broadway lately.

Oh, I thought so
Yeah, her voice is very unique, I love it! I wish she had more songs in the show, because she sounds lovely!
Listening to "Purple Summer" again right now :)

I want this CD so bad.

I'm on a mac. I can't use Rhapsody, right?

I've been listening to the recording all afternoon and it is just a fantastic recording of a fantastic score. The perfomers' voices are incredible, especially Lea Michele. She sounds so much better on this recording than she does live. And I just love John Gallagher and his voice. This show must win Best Score, or there is no justice in this world.

Stand out tracks (IMO) on the recording are "Mama Who Bore Me", "And Then There Were None", and "Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind" although the entire score is full of great songs.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

I've been listening to "Touch Me" all day. I absolutely love when Skylar starts singing. I wish he and Brian were used more in the show!

Anyone think Best Buy will have it tomm? I really want it, and I don't want to order it offline. What label recorded it? I figured since it's the music of Duncan Sheik it might be easier to find. Also, what company put out the new Jacque Brel recording? I seriously can't find that anywhere.

RentBoy, I just checked BestBuy.com and they indeed have the album. I am going to go there after work tomorrow to (hopefully) pick up a copy. I absolutely adored the show and can't wait to relive it on CD!
