It's basic statistics, BG. If you create an average of three threads a week for the 52 weeks of 2013, that is 156 threads. With that number, the probability is greater that there will be numerous contenders for "hot mess thread".

Teal Wicks Lauren Ward and Victoria Clark ??? doubtful.

Lesli Margherita and Jessie Mueller/Betsy Wolfe from Drood or Jen Colella from Chaplin or Keala Settle from Hands on a Hardbody are more likely IMO

I cannot imagine a Tony Awards that does not recognize Andrea Martin. The audience certainly does with a standing ovation nearly every night -- mid Act I. Where else is THAT happening on b'way?

I'm looking at the Best Supporting actor race. Carvel's leading qualification throws the race wide open. I think Gabriel Ebert and Will Chase are the frontrunners, with Terrence Man and Andy Karl probably getting noms. Is there anyone I'm forgetting who would be serious competition?
