NEW YORK, NEW YORK will launch a North American tour in January 2025. The tour will begin in a city in New York State to be announced at a later date.

Depending on how the rest of its Bway run goes, I wouldn't be shocked if this starts non-Eq like BULLETS OVER BROADWAY did. These are roles that can be easily cast with nonunion talent.

I love this show and would welcome a chance to see the road show a couple years from now. But part of the magic here is its large canvas: a giant set, the 30-person ensemble, the 25-piece orchestra, etc. Please God they don't shrink it to a chamber version to tour the provinces on the belief that no-one will know the difference.
