I'm glad I saw it when I did. It is a great show and they weave the whole dramatic aspect very well. I mean, I thought I'd just be depressed the whole time, but I really wasn't.
I could see it in a bigger house, but yeah, any broadway theater just seems too big, except maybe like the Booth? That always seems smaller.

Posted: 7/6/09 at 2:33pmI think he was using a semi-southern accent. He's supposed to be from North Florida and it's a pretty accurate accent for that region.

Selling out the 99-seat upstairs space at Playwrights Horizons and selling out the Circle in the Square are two very different things.
I hope the show transfers to another small space. It would have a long run at one of the Theatre Row spaces, at the revamped Actors Playhouse, or TBG.

Posted: 7/6/09 at 6:41pmGood point. It's actually kind of surprising to me that this show has more publicity going for it, than most Broadway shows do. I mean, I see the ads all over the subways, and I love the poster.
