If I ever had the chance to direct the play, I'd just cut out the stuff after her monologue. Kinda leave it at the shocker.

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

i think the most effective thing is adam watching the video of that whisper... he just keeps rewinding and rewinding and it blacks out. it was the best silent moment on a stage i've ever had.

But I doubt I'll ever get the chance... so we'll just stick with the original script.

I think Medea Redux is an amazing piece of work (from Bash).

And of course, I like the Shape of Things as well :0)

It's amazing how angry people get on these boards. HA. I love bww.

HA, sorry, don't mean to offend...I'm happy to see Neil in a thread.

He's a great playwright. Man, we don't talk enough about plays on these boards.

Exactly. I hate how people think musicals when they think broadway.

My avatar's an old Justin Timberlake pic.

My college tried to do the Shape of Things, but it failed. Miserably. The stage they used was too big, not to mention the actors kinda were over the top.

Talking about plays, did anyone see FROZEN? I heard it was awesome...

didn't get to see it but my friends said that brian was utterly amazing (and it was one of the most difficult roles to play) and that swoosie was surprisingly very good.

I saw This is How it Goes and The Shape of Things on stage and have read all of his plays. My personal favorite is Bash. Of the two I saw on stage, I preferred The Shape of Things.

I saw Frozen (was at the closing performance of the Broadway production). It was really fantastic.

I love love love Shape Of Things, but the film was not so good. And I loved Bash as well. Not so keen on The Distance From Here which was written in a hurry and it showed.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.
