To have a DIVA like LIZA announcing the best musical, and NPH's last #, was just the icing of the cake of a great ceremony. He sounded great too and was hilarious throughout the night. I hope the ratings were higher than last year, actually, about 10 friends on my facebook page posted that they were watching the Tonys, which sounds impressive.
I still wish I could see Brooke Shields hosting some time soon.
She's hilarious!

HOST
EVER!
Love how he totally down-played his witty humor and my-gawd just LOVED that suit (I think I've seen it on-sale at Top Shelf).
And what about that HI-LAR-IOUS finale song: "Christopher Seiber / Please / Performing on your knees / That only helps for winning golden globes!"

"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor
"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl
"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott

Best and funniest closing line ever at an awards show.
