He was the best host of the Tony Awards I've seen in awhile. I'd pick him over Hugh Jackman or Whoopi any day.
He looked great, he was hilarious, hip, charming. I just love him, he's a class act.

Posted: 6/7/09 at 11:21pmI love anything he does but I would have liked to have seen him more. I thought there was going to be a duet with him and Anne Hathaway- according to a rumor. I would have loved that. The closing number was PHENOMENAL. They just wrote that tonight and he performed it so well!

He was perfect. The show was just a little slow. Not his fault though.

A lot of actors brought a lot of humor with their speeches, like Marcia Gay Harden and the guy from The Sopranos with his Shrek comment, and Geoff Rush. Anne Hathaway was very cool when Gavin Creel sang to her. It was great.
To have a DIVA like LIZA announcing the best musical, and NPH's last #, was just the icing of the cake of a great ceremony. He sounded great too and was hilarious throughout the night. I hope the ratings were higher than last year, actually, about 10 friends on my facebook page posted that they were watching the Tonys, which sounds impressive.
I still wish I could see Brooke Shields hosting some time soon.
She's hilarious!

BEST
HOST
EVER!
Love how he totally down-played his witty humor and my-gawd just LOVED that suit (I think I've seen it on-sale at Top Shelf).
And what about that HI-LAR-IOUS finale song: "Christopher Seiber / Please / Performing on your knees / That only helps for winning golden globes!"

Posted: 6/8/09 at 12:01amHe was great! But we needed more of him!!!! He has such a great quick wit, I would have loved to seen him in the audience talking to the celebs and whatnot. Or maybe they should do a sort of "Jay Walking" thing with people in Times Square, and he could interview some people about the show. I don't know, ha.
