I have tix to the 2:00 performance of gypsy tomm. And I'm commuting by bus from Jersey. I'm really nervous about the weather after the show and whether there might be a possibilty of getting snowed in? In Port Authority of all places!
Will the shows go on despite this weather? Is there any chance of calling the box office to see if they will honor tomm tickets sunday? I really want to go, but I do not want the worry of getting home afterwards...thoughts?

Yes, you you will be snowed in tomm. Looks like you will be sleeping in Port Auth. For days, prob. Looks like this will be the storm of the cent.

Posted: 1/9/09 at 11:41pmAccording to the news, the city is only supposed to get about 4 inches. I live here and I'm not too worried about it. I'm sure that nothing will be canceled and I highly doubt you will be snowed in at Port Authority. Of course, if worst comes to worst at least that will make an awesome story :]

I have a ticket for the final performance. I am going to mass tonight so I can catch a very early train tomorrow morning and be at the show regardless of how long it takes to travel in.

Posted: 1/10/09 at 12:54pmThe forcasters keep downgrading the storm....I bet you will have no problems. Last night it was 4-7 inches supposedly going to fall in NYC....now, as usual, they're saying snow changing to rain, with 3 inches of "SLUSH" when it's over. Have a great trip, and enjoy your show!
