Is there any infotmation on the new "Ave Q" tour? Is it a non Equity tour or an after summer layoff of the 1st tour? It is scheduled for Buffalo for 2 days in October which makes it seem like a cut down tour, but it is also scheduled in other cities for week long engagements.
Is there ary information on the casting?

I haven't gotten my hands on any cast info, but I do know that the tour is non-equity

Why do you say this thread is "spam"? It is an honest request for information on the new tour and cast.

I wouldn't waste my money on the non-Equity Avenue Q. These are the non-Equity Princeton and Rod.
The tour will return in either September or October. That is when it's coming to Binghamton.

Non Equity, but not scaled down that I know of (how could they? It's a unit set!)
The eq tour was so good, not sure I want to take a chance on spoiling my memories of it...Rob Mcclure was great in particular.
Do we know who is producing the tour? I haven't seen any casting calls for a non-equity tour as of yet...possibly soon

I am just curious about the non-Equity tour and if I should see it.

I'll be seeing them in June 2010, it'll probably be one of their last performances. I've never seen Avenue Q so I really won't have anything to compare it to. Speaking of Non-Eq tours, CAMELOT is coming to my town in October and I can't find any info on it. Does anyone here have any info? Is it Equity, Non-Equity, same production as the last tour? I haven't found ANY info?

Rob was AMAZING. I don't know how he does it every night. He made me tear up just as the music was starting for "I Wish I Could Go Back To College" when Princeton says, "Christmas Eve... I miss Nicky." OMG.

I'd bet Non Eq since most of the engagements are split weeks. Curious as to who is producing it, as well.
My theatre has been doing 2 show Sundays & that's it for a while. They must changing that next season because Ave. Q is going to be the first show.
Casting calls are up for the NON- Equity National Tour of Ave Q

Its being produced by Worklight Productions which seems to be a pretty new company doing many children shows.

I find it interesting that Gary Coleman is being cast as a male this time around...

Where is everyone getting the tour information as far as venues are concerned?
Probably are respective season sites. I am PISSED that Gary is being played by a guy. I heard that the tour is using the previous tour's puppets & sets.

Why be upset that Gary Colemen will be played by a male. That's the way it is in London and they are famous for gender bening over there.

That's too bad about Gary Colemen. I already have my tickets, though. I'm still excited about it.
